Generative AI Use Disclosure

As a Germany-based SME, we comply with EU law, including GDPR, the AI Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA), as a minimum.

Human-in-the-loop

Our job is to make chaotic, complicated, and complex information clear and beautiful for others. If we didn't care to write it, you shouldn't care to read it.

At Ura, we use Generative AI (GenAI) for scaffolding and brainstorming: never for final content or decisions. Every step of our process undergoes human review, and our team is responsible for the final output. We verify facts, citations, and designs against primary sources.

Intellectual Property (IP)

We treat AI output as a draft, never as a final deliverable without human review and substantial rewriting. All content we produce has a human owner, who verifies, edits, and rewrites it for accuracy, originality, and compliance with IP laws. Clients are informed if AI tools are used in the creation of deliverables.

Data Security

We use no GenAI tool that trains on our inputs, we keep participant data and unpublished security findings out of these tools entirely, and we review and disclose any AI-assisted output before it reaches a partner.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

We never share PII with any cloud-hosted GenAI. Raw partner and participant data (e.g., interview recordings, transcripts, and survey responses) is processed locally, on-device with opt-in consent or not at all.

No Generated Multimedia

We avoid GenAI for multimedia (sound, images, animations), as we want to cultivate a work process where human creative expression is encouraged. If we can hire a human artist or creator, we do. We may use AI for basic diagramming, but never for creative expression.

Restrictions on Use Cases

We never use GenAI for hiring decisions (résumé screening, interview assessments).

This policy will be reviewed annually or as regulations evolve.
