Generative AI Use Disclosure

We know that under the EU AI Act Ura is not required to disclose our use of Generative AI (GenAI). For us sharing our guardrails keeps us accountable to clients, partners, and our communities alike.

Human-in-the-loop

Our job is to make chaotic, complicated, and complex information clear and beautiful for others. If we didn't care to write or draw it, you shouldn't care to read or view it.

At Ura, we use GenAI to scaffold and brainstorm. We never use it to produce final content or make final decisions. Every output is reviewed, checked against primary sources, and rewritten by a member of our team, someone who owns it and is accountable for it. When GenAI tools help shape a deliverable, we tell the client, partner, and community.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

We never share personally identifiable information with cloud-hosted AI tools. Interview recordings, transcripts, and survey responses are processed locally, on-device, with opt-in consent, or not at all. Our GenAI vendors are contractually barred from training their models on our inputs.

No Generated Multimedia

We avoid using GenAI for images, sound, or animation. If a human artist can do the work, we hire one. AI is limited to basic diagramming, never as a replacement for creative expression.

Restrictions on Use Cases

We do not use AI for hiring decisions, that includes résumé screening and interview assessment.

Disclosure Review

This disclosure is reviewed annually, or sooner if regulations change, including transparency obligations under the EU AI Act where relevant.
